Updates Re: The Community Store Campaign, Branding & More
Dear Wefunder Investors:
Now that the high-energy summer of 2018 has wound down into the slower, but steady flow of autumn, we wanted to bring you up to date on what’s been happening at the Saranac Lake Community Store.
First of all, I want to thank you so much for supporting our campaign and believing in what we’re doing to ensure a successful future for The Community Store. We’re now less than $2,000* away from our goal and we’re working hard to get over the finish line before the campaign closes at the end of October. Once that happens, if you chose one of our Wefunder campaign incentives when you made your investment, you’ll be receiving the details on how that works.
The success on Wefunder.com has started the process we've been planning for a year or more: rebranding; creating an e-commerce platform; developing signature products and updating/upgrading our inventory mix to meet the needs of our customers now and in the future. Please stay tuned on this: we will be in touch in the coming months to share exciting updates about our progress with strengthening the store’s brand as well as developing a new website and e-commerce platform!
On the heels of our strong summer - during which sales have continued the upward trend that we’ve seen since last winter - Saranac lake seems to be riding a real positive wave. The streets were busy, the village is getting noticed by travel and other media, buildings and storefronts downtown - including our own - have been undergoing improvements, and this summer Downtown Saranac Lake was awarded a $10 million top prize in the New York State downtown revitalization grant program. All these developments build momentum for more shoppers, visitors, and residents for our store in the years ahead.
So once again, we thank you for your support for the Store! We hope to see you in the store soon and/or shopping on our new e-commerce site once it’s launched and wish you an enjoyable autumn.

Wefunder supports three different federal laws that allow startups to raise money legally. To comply with the law, Wefunder Advisors LLC and Wefunder Portal LLC (both owned by Wefunder Inc) also list startups depending on the regulation used.
Legal May 16th 2016
Wefunder Portal LLC
for 460 startups
Wefunder Advisors LLC
for 126 startups
for 3 startups
Curious how well the companies have done? Or how many raised follow-on financing?
Some fine print: 1) These numbers include startups currently live on Wefunder if they pass their minimum target. 2) Some startups use two different laws at the same time (i.e., Regulation D and Regulation Crowdfunding).
