Six months ago we submitted our "Pepino Sour" beer to the George Lopez Best Michelada Competition. We just found out we WON! We know Latino flavors and when we brewed the Pepino sour with fresh cucumber and key lime, we KNEW it was the perfect base for the BEST michelada ever. For those of you who have never experienced a Michelada, it is a delicious combination of 1) Base Beer, 2) Michelada Mix and finished off with ice, cucumber bits and chamoy/chile rim. It's light, super flavorful, slightly spicy and you can drink 2-3 on a hot summer day.
We will be launching a social media campaign with George Lopez and we will be the featured drink at his LA restaurant "El Mas Chingon". This is an excellent example of our continued innovation in beer making and our partnerships with thought leaders like George Lopez. As we expand into Los Angeles, we expect to see even more successfull collaborations with actors, musicians and artists.

Hi! I'm really excited to be an investor in Border X and can't wait to see what the future holds! I was wondering what areas you are considering for future expansion? Thanks!
Hi Scott! Thanks for your support amigo! Our current ABC license allows for 6 total locations, then we would have to file for another. For this six, we have Barrio and then Bell first. We believe San Diego should have two more, one in North County, near the Brewery trail (Escondido), and one more in South Bay, near border. Then, we believe LA could have at least two more, one in Riverside, near the old downtown, and then one other in Long Beach potentially. We have a lot of cities interested in working with us based on our concept and proven track record.
I agree, undifferentiated breweries are going to have a tough time, that's why we always took the path less traveled. We chose to have large tasting rooms, we chose to to not ride the IPA wave but make our own and we chose to focus on Latinos. There's a great book called "Blue Ocean Strategy", that basically states, "don't compete in the same way other companies do, create your own markets and innovate".
Thanks Craig, you've always been a great supporter!
Just wait Robert, we have big, big plans.... the best companies are defined by their creativity in the choices they make. We hope to stand alone!
