Border X is located just a mile or two from the San Diego convention center where the San Diego Comic Con is held every year. This is our fourth year holding this event and will be our biggest by far. We started Chicano-Con with the simple objective of 1) Bringing some Comic-Con fun to the Barrio kids, and 2) Bringing together Latino artists, actors, directors, writers and musicians to network and support each other. Two years ago Guillermo Del Toro, the Mexican director and Academy Award winner for the "Shape of Water" joined us, and this year we are hosting Lalo Alcaraz, political cartoonist and culture consultant to Disney/Pixar's wildly successful "Coco" movie.  Over four days starting this Thursday, we will host anywhere between 2-3 thousand people through our brewery.  This a great example of how we are not "your average brewery".  Our strategy is simple, we call it the three "C"s. Craft - Culture - Community. Chicano Con is a great example of Culture and Community!
