Taking steps towards the VoiceVoice conversation launch

We’ve been heads down, all hands on deck, sprinting towards the official launch of VoiceVoice these last couple months.

Currently, we're working with our first three VoiceVoice customers to design their initial conversations on the platform. We are also in contact with the country’s largest advocacy organizations about potentially partnering on national conversations to address pressing issues - #MeToo, immigration, gun control, among others.

To give you some color on what we've been up to for the VoiceVoice rollout, here's a screenshot of a recent demo we tested internally at the start of June:

And some next steps-

  • Step 1A: This month, our engineers will be pushing a new release of the platform live with changes to both aesthetics (e.g. new colors, fonts and buttons per our style guide) and functionality (e.g. new, sharper video quality, the ability for people to host their own conversation times, a donation module) to make for a much more robust, engaging user experience.
  • Step 1B: While these platform improvements are being finalized, we’re designing the first conversation. Topics we're considering:
    • i.) Future of public spaces in the age of robotic transportation;
    • ii.) Gun violence prevention;
    • iii.) New governance/common ground;
    • iv.) How do we convert #MeToo movement into the November ballot box.
  • Step 2: Launch our company’s first conversation on VoiceVoice as a pilot program for our email list and customer network and/or for a paid customer as a launch partner.
  • Step 3: Once our initial conversation series is in the market, focus on launching ~10 national conversations to address pressing issues (such as #MeToo, Immigration, Gun Reform, etc.) with the very best partners for each conversation, with a goal of 250k up to several million participants per conversation in 2018.

To that end, we are reaching out to organizations (inside and outside of our network) with the credibility, reach and ability to potentially perform at that level. If you know of any advocacy orgs we should be talking to, please contact me and/or share this info with them.

If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to ping me (I can be reached at [email protected]). Thank you for following us as we get ever-so-closer to introducing these meaningful conversations to the nation. We hope to be sharing more and more good news with you shortly!

Warm regards,

-Brian

P.S. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the conversation topics we’re considering (Step 1B above). AND- if you’d be up to privately demo the platform and give us feedback, please email me ([email protected]) or comment on this message below to let me know.
