Owning a business is hard. It's honestly the most challenging thing I have ever done. I feel constantly bombarded with bad news and obstacles that feel insurmountable. There are good moments too- when I remember why I'm doing this. For example, yesterday:

One of my friends sold two kegs to a brand new account for me! Another friend introduced me to another new account in the city! And then there was another new account. An amazing dive bar in SF that had been carrying Angry Orchard for years, primarily for one guy, a local who came in every day. Sadly, he passed and the owner's ex recommended my cider (which she had tried at a First Friday)! I would never have expected to be on tap at such a special spot, but it happened and I'm stoked. I may have spent 3 hours getting to/from SF yesterday, but damn it's great knowing people want my cider.

I could not be here without all of the support from my friends, community and family- all of you who volunteer for me, who listen to me gripe, who purchase my cider and who have invested in me- thank you, thank you, thank you!

I ask for your continued support as I continues to grow Crooked City Cider, and if you can, please help me reach my crowdfunding goal (we're more than halfway there) by increasing your investment and sharing this opportunity with anyone who may be excited to support a growing woman-owned business!
