My name is Nate Roulston, I’m the new Chief Marketing Officer for Scrap Connection and my role is simply to help grow the company through adding subscribers. I need your help! Since the funding round ended, our developers have been busy making incredible changes and advances in our site functionality. The changes haven’t all been implemented just yet but the major change, Company Profiles and Reports are functioning. We currently have over 200 company reports and by August 1, we’ll have over 3,000 completed. These reports are critical to our mission of creating transparency within the Scrap Industry. We’ve collected a data sample for these companies, weighed the data and developed a unique score (sort of like a Credit Score) for each company that is an indicator of their trustworthiness within the Scrap Metal Industry. A significant portion of our data collection has been reliant upon actual customer feedback—much like eBay or Amazon transaction reviews. After all, how a company does business is far more relevant than how long they’ve been in business or how many employees they have—although those factors are important, as well. So please, come to the site, check it out and if you like it, sign-up! I can personally arrange for a waiver of the start-up fee, which is up to a $1195 value.
