On January 26 we announced the lineup for the 2018 Fortress Festival and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. This year's festival, coming April 28 & 29, will feature Grammy nominated singer/songwriters Father John Misty and Courtney Barnett, hip-hop legends RZA and De La Soul, indie rock icon Julian Casablancas (of The Strokes) with his new band The Voidz as well as groundbreaking groups from a wide range of genres including Tune-Yards, Chicano Batman, Lee Fields and the Expressions, Hurray for the Riff Raff, and many more. Not long after the announcement, Harper's Bazaar published a list of 2018 music festivals not to miss. Fortress was included among the select few that also featured iconic events such as Coachella, Bonnaroo and Primavera festivals. The inclusion goes to show how, even with a fraction of the budget of many major events, thoughtful curation can garner prestigious recognition. 

Ticket sales have been steady since the announcement and we are on track to reach our goals for the year. We will be announcing additional festival programming soon and have announcements regarding non-festival business, so stay tuned!
