Since late September, Bushel has had a demonstration garden on the rooftop of a multi-story building in Washington, D.C. growing 24 varieties of leafy greens as part of our 'Greens Galore' package. Designed to showcase the ease and productivity of rooftop gardens, the demo garden is growing well under the care of one of our independent urban gardeners.

On Thursday night, the demo garden was front and center at our first commercial property managers' happy hour marketing event at GCDC downtown.  10 PM's from a top 3 global real estate management firm came to meet Matt and Joe and learn about the demo garden design and performance, Bushel's commercial business model, and the pre-designed rooftop garden packages we have to reduce the cost of installations.  The event was hosted by the property manager of the building where our demo garden is growing.

We already have a few leads from the meeting, and will be upgrading the demo garden to a full, paid installation in the coming months.  We are working our way to turning this new target into a 'whale' by linking with Corporate and developing a partnership over time.
