Grit's co-founder, Michael Powell, played a key role in a  corner store conversion project in South Los Angeles designed to address healthy food access in lower-income urban communities. The rebrand strategy worked to change consumers' perceptions of the store format into a unique yet recognizable medium. This experience and perspective adds to the GRIT alchemy and helps move us one step closer to our goal of "Fixing Food" in America.
