We are happy to announce that ZipZap has been selected by U.K.'s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to participate in the FCA Regulatory Sandbox.
The FCA Regulatory Sandbox is part of Project Innovate, an initiative kicked off in 2014 to provide innovators with support to navigate the regulatory system and promote competition in the interest of consumers.
With this innovative program, ZipZap will be able to immediately offer migrant workers in the U.K. the ability to send remittances home to their loved ones using ZipZap's apps.
Upon completion of a 6 month testing period, ZipZap will work closely with FCA to assess the test against a range of success measures and, if appropriate, migrate to the full FCA license.
This is a HUGE news for us and one that we have been working hard for the past few months to bring to reality so we are super excited about this announcement!
