We’ve been working hard to make it easier for you to run highly effective meetings, and we just took a giant leap forward in taking the work out of structuring your meetings and creating beautiful, useful and actionable meeting notes. Introducing meeting templates…
Now, you can choose a template for whatever type of meeting you’re having and in one click, have a perfectly structured meeting template complete with an agenda, and sections for recording decisions and next steps. We created a basic template which gets applied to all meetings by default (you can always replace it with a blank page or any other templates), and templates for the most common meeting types:
- Weekly team meeting
- 1-on-1
- Daily standup
- Project meeting
We also created a template called ‘Original MeetingHero’ for those of you who were fans of our initial meeting note structure (from when we were called MeetingHero
How it works
When you sign in to Worklife and click into any meeting on your calendar, we’ll automatically apply the Basic Meeting template.
You can use the basic meeting template, or click ‘choose a different template’ to apply another one.
Once you’ve selected the template you’d like to use, you can modify it any way you want. You can add agenda items, or even add whole new sections (by adding section headers).
As soon as you’re done modifying the template, you can send out the agenda to all or select meeting invitees by clicking the ‘Send Agenda’ button (we’ll only send the Agenda section). You can also set it as recurring (for recurring meetings) and you’ll be set with your meeting agenda and note structure for all future meetings in the series!
Start applying templates to your meetings
To give it a try, simply sign in to WorkLife, pick a meeting and select a template.
