This week, some of the Unbabel team went to the TAUS conference in San Jose, California. TAUS is an organization focused on innovation and automation in the translation and language industries, and the annual conference brings together the most creative minds in the industry.

And guess what! Unbabel was voted the most innovative company at TAUS. The attendees are a mixture of employees of some of the largest translation companies in the world, and companies that use sophisticated methods of translation to generate large volumes of translated and localized content.

Unbabel is a small startup compared to these giant companies, which often gives us an advantage in that we can move quickly when we find new ways to disrupt translation and move the industry forward.

The fact that the other attendees of the conference recognized our commitment to pushing the translation industry forward and using technology as our backbone means a lot to us. We’re proud to be a company on the forefront of change, and we’re proud of our team and our editors for all of the work they do.
