We started WorkLife with a simple mission: to help you love your work life. Since launching our Beta product earlier this year, we’ve seen tens of thousands of meetings run on WorkLife across thousands of companies. We’ve had hundreds of conversations with teams of all shapes and sizes to understand what’s frustrating about work and how we can make life at work significantly easier and better for you.
Today, we’re very excited to announce the new WorkLife!
The new version will not only help your team run more effective meetings – it will also help you get your most important tasks done, collaborate on projects outside of meetings, and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks.
Stay on top of your day
WorkLife now includes a “Today” view. The today view syncs with your calendar and helps ensure you’re always prepared for upcoming meetings by allowing you to add or review agendas in a single click.
The today view also allows you to star or add the important tasks you want to focus on for the day. By viewing your events and most important tasks side by side you can plan your day more effectively, remain focused on what matters, and get more done.
More powerful, flexible meeting notes
We’ve dramatically improved the note taking experience in WorkLife. Now, instead of having everything in different sections, you can embed notes, action items (now called ‘tasks’ for brevity), bullets, and links right beneath agenda items. This helps maintain context around which notes and action items were related to which topics.
When you assign a task to someone in a meeting it automatically shows up on their personal task list within WorkLife.
If you had existing meeting notes in WorkLIfe, we’ve migrated them to the new format. You can read more about that, as well as some of the other changes to the meeting notes, here.
All your tasks in one place
You can now add tasks outside of meetings to your WorkLife task list so that all of your tasks are in one place. Tasks that were created within meetings link back to the meeting note in which they were created.
When you’re ready to focus on a task that’s assigned to you, simply star it and it will show up your “Today” view.
