Woburn, MA (July 6, 2015) - Terrafugia Inc., the developer of the Transition® street-legal airplane, is pleased to announce that John Bourneuf has joined the team as Vice President Development.
With over three decades of experience as an operations, engineering, and business development executive in the aerospace and energy sectors, John Bourneuf brings a wealth of expertise to the company. He has worked extensively in both domestic and international markets with a range of Fortune-500, privately held, and small start-up companies, and will be an integral new addition to the Terrafugia team.

Before joining Terrafugia, Bourneuf served as VP Engineering at Belcan Engineering Group, where he was responsible for significant client base diversification, revenue growth, and partnership development. He has also held top management positions with Precision Castparts, United Technologies, and GE Aviation, among others. He earned an M.S. in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, and Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering and Economics at the University of Notre Dame. In addition, Bourneuf had the distinction of being awarded GE’s inaugural MIT Sloan Fellowship, and holds two patents in turbine cooling systems and blade design.
