We're extremely excited to welcome Patrick McLaren to the Privy engineering team here in Boston.  Patrick joins us from UMass, where he majored in mathematics.

Originally from Australia, Patrick came to the U.S. to attend school.  He is a passionate Ruby on Rails enthusiast, and he has been developing in Ruby singe age 17 when he taught himself Ruby using his passion and enthusiasm. 

Patrick is the founder of Memoread, a smarter flashcard app that makes studying flashcards extremely easy.  In his spare time, Patrick enjoys being active on Twitter (117 tweets as of today) and also cake.
