If you haven't been reading these WEFUNDER Pencilish Animation Studios UPDATES/Emails, now is the time to START! We are in the last 7 days (countdown clock on our Wefunder page is keeping track), and all this week, we will be dropping some exciting news, announcments, and artwork previews! 

WE WANT YOU TO KNOW, this is JUST the beginning, but it's starting to get very exciting at Pencilish!

First announcement: We HAVE A NEW SERIES! Yep, added to the three IP's/series already in development, Pencilish has made an agreement to partner with pro screenwriters Jake Morgan and Joe Morgan (Disney's "Puppy Dog Pals") (unrelated, but friends) to create what is tentatively titled "WarPigs" as an animated property with goals of making it into a TOY LINE, among other things! Without revealing too much, it's a story about a pig in medieval times that discovers that there's much more to the farm/land around him. Mystical forces surround their village and there is an Arthurian-type guild of pig warriors that has secretly been protecting the land for centuries-of which he must now come a part! Pencilish now co-owns this property with the Morgans'! Script writing has already begun and visual development will happen shortly. 

SUB- NOTE: We have at least two to three other properties that we are getting close to finalizing agreements with those creators- more on those soon! Now this: when you invest in Pencilish Animation Studios, you are a co-owner of our COMPANY-NOT JUST ONE PROJECT- and we are building a library of IPs (Intellectual Properties) that we plan to take into all realms of merchandising and licensing!

Secondly, here's an ART DROP UPDATE: We have a cast/character design line up for our series "JuJu Brain", series created by Julie Odnoralov. These designs are by the talented artist (in Berlin), JUAN USECHE. We had developed the characters internally all summer long and got close to a final design, but I felt we needed to bring in a "ringer" to get them the rest of the way. We hired Juan, who referenced the work our artists did to create this final concept line up of JuJu, her family, her best friend Chris and his brother Jamal. Wahoo! We can't wait to start animating them! We have all five scripts completed and storyboarding will begin soon! More updates about this project in a bit. Enjoy!
