This week California Governor Gavin Newsome announced that the State will soon be allowing restaurants and wineries, which fall under that category, to begin to open as COVID 19 cases have fallen. The COVID 19 State lockdown restrictions which were enacted last year, effectively shut down the wineries which our X Train Railroad service is to serve. Our original run date to restart service from LA to Santa Barbara and out to Los Olivos, was February 28, 2021. The lockdown forced the closure of all wineries we have planned to visit on our tours.

With the restrictions lifted, even back to a 25% occupancy level, our service works as we have our tours broken down into small groups, which comply with those restrictions. Now, with the reopening of the wineries, we can resume the tours which have been so well received.
