My name is Justin Boswick and I’m an associate producer for the upcoming film Follow Her. I recently produced the film Where’s Rose which had a successful run on WeFunder as well. I wanted to talk briefly as to why I not only joined the Follow Her team but invested as well and encourage you to do the same on Wefunder.

First off, the team is highly successful, and knowing that it’s helmed by a seasoned Emmy Award-winning director was a huge draw for me. In addition, the cast has an established following that I’ve seen before do great work and can bring in a big crowd. It’s also important that we support female filmmakers as they pave their way for equality in Hollywood.

From a business standpoint, I felt like I was making a sound investment after seeing their goals, distribution plans, and overall business deck. These aren’t people new to the game, they’re seasoned professionals that know what they’re doing and can turn a profit. Plus, the market is hungry right now for films like this as this past year many productions of this size have not been able to shoot. In addition, the genre is highly profitable and with the subject matter of social media and the dangers of it, it can easily spring to the front page of the internet once it’s released.

Finally, I joined this team because Follow Her is a film I’m excited to watch. The best part about Wefunder is you get to become a part of things you wouldn’t normally have the chance to join.
