AUDL Achieves First Development Milestone for Ultimate Video Game

In November 2019, the AUDL formed a new subsidiary, UltiX Technology, LLC to bring together industry leading expertise and partnerships as a developer of sports data collection, fan applications and video games. By October 2020, UtliX had raised a total of $181,500 of capital to pay development costs for several software projects. One of these projects was the development of a video game in partnership with Firebrand, a successful developer of sports related video games.

Today, the AUDL announced that Firebrand has achieved the first development milestone, by delivering the playable prototype of a console-based video game based on the sport of Ultimate. This is a limited playable demo that shows the possibilities of a full production game based on the sport. UltiX Management and investors are now considering the next steps of development to create a vertical slice of the video game which will demonstrate a full 7 vs 7 game including all player AI.

If the video game attains production status the AUDL will be entitled to receive a royalty of UtliX product sales, after recovery of development costs, under the terms of a Collaboration Agreement executed September 25th, 2020. The AUDL will not be directing funds from the Wefunder Campaign to invest in this video game. Instead, UltiX will continue to seek outside capital to further fund the Ultimate video game development. There is no guarantee that the necessary capital will be secured at this time.

AUDL currently owns 84% of UltiX Technology, LLC.
