FluentWorlds made huge progress in 2020 in spite of the global pandemic. The good news for FluentWorlds is that, at our core, we are all about online learning. Here a summary of FluentWorlds’ 2020 (the Year in Review)
January:
- Maintained a world’s highest rating for English language training App at 4.9 on the Apple Apps Store
- Massive increase in organic downloads
- Launched our App with MoviStar Argentina Telecom and reached over 25,000 downloads
February:
- Hired a new website developer
- Built an affiliate program and tied into our website
March:
- Both Android and iOS FluentWorlds Apps were redone to eliminate the front-load system
- Significant engineering efforts to make FluentWorlds run smoothly even in areas of the world with weak Internet access
- 16 lessons of English curriculum created and put into our FluentWorlds’ Academy CMS system
- Engineering team finished the single sign on function
April:
- The new version of FluentWorlds App perfected and up into the Apple Apps Store and Google Play Stores...approved on the Apple Apps Store in an unprecedented 4 hours!
- Several great videos added to the FluentWorlds’ video library including "25 Ways in 25 Days" series that has garnered close to 200,000 views
May:
- Signed contract with top European distributor in Italy called DigitalGo
- Launched YouTube Channel and achieved over 2,000 subscribers
June:
- FluentWorlds’ Spanish version begun in earnest
- Big contract signed with global mobile app distributor in Lisbon Portugal telecommunications company Timwe Tech
- Signed Contract with SMCovey to distribute 3dmeet globally
- SOURCENEXT: Ordered 1,000 more licenses - SourceNext has been voted the best online software retailer in Japan for the last 14 years
July:
- Signed a deal with M.S. HOLDINGS--a major distribution deal in Latin America
- TELCEL MEXICO was launched as a distribution partner--they have close to 90 million subscribers
August:
- The initial recordings are completed for a Spanish version of the FluentWorlds’ mobile app
- A major proof point was achieved for FluentWorlds as a highly-effective English language learning tool--a young man in Portugal goes from 41 to 61 on CEFR standards in a month while using the platform!
September:
- Named the #1 hottest trending App on the Google Play Store!
- Launched with Indonesia Indosat telecom
- Created a new Japanese level in 3dmeet
October:
- Hosted the World’s 1st Virtual Technolab Conference in Colombia using the Live-Streaming Feature of 3DMeet
- Initiated negotiations with the Ministry of Education for Dominican Republic Government to provide FluentWorlds’ platform for English language learning services throughout the country
- Launched FluentWorlds’ mobile App with Entel Peru
- Signed major contract with a distributor in Turkey
November:
- Completed work on over 7,000 voice files for a Spanish Version of FluentWorlds’ mobile app
- Videos on YouTube Channel are regularly getting 1000s of views
December:
- FluentWorlds’ suite of products is approved by the President of the Dominican Republic
- Held second Colombia/Technolab Conference
- Final 3DMeet Version 2 mobile app approved in an astounding 26 min by the Apple Apps Store!
- Aquipago signs a contract to market FluentWorlds to 17 Million people in Ecuador
- Added a new 3d Modeler to the Team, who is helping to build Spanish-focused 3d worlds for the platform
- Further marketed and promoted the platform, including a Holiday Giveaway Contest being launched and a Grand Prize Winner being named
