With almost $550,000 raised, we are closing in on the $600,000 milestone that ends the "early bird" special of 10% interest on the promissory notes we are offering. After that, additional investments will earn 8%. The 640 shares for each $100 you invest does not change. That is what provides the potential for a very large upside to the investment.
Our first close on Dec. 11 allows us to wire Weissenborn the funds they need to manufacture one Wind Harvester v3.1. It should be finished and ready to ship in 16 weeks - mid-April. We have decided to change the testing location to UL's Advanced Wind Testing Facility in Texas. This delays the installation for a month because of shipping time from Denmark, but all of its positives make it worthwhile. (e.g. nearness to our U.S. team, less expensive to set up and connect to the grid).
It is exciting to see that already almost 500 people have invested and can share in the environmental and monetary value we will create. Crowd funding has solved the biggest problem we have faced - getting enough capital to finish commercializing our wind turbines. With funds raised from the first close, we are on track to sell $5 million of our turbines at the end of 2021.
