We didn't post any updates within the Thanksgiving week but, besides enjoying the turkey dinner with our families, we kept working on moving things forward.

We needed to implement the motor and steering for the front suspension, which has been challenging in terms of available space with our low-floor chassis and front-drive approach. Still, we found a good solution and defined the hardpoints in the packaging last week. Our cab-over design, which provides increased payload volume on one side, requires a bit more 😊 engineering on the other- but creates IP as well.

We are working with a very experienced company in the UK that does all the vehicle dynamics calculations. We might also be able to integrate a "steer-by-wire" system, but not sure yet about this at the moment.

I am traveling this week, meetings on the east coast and in sunny California. In-person meetings are difficult to arrange during this pandemic but most efficient over zoom meetings.

Meeting with our design team in LA to discuss the next steps for the driver's cabin development. Next week we have a kick-off zoom with all participating companies on that.

So long, have a nice weekend and stay healthy!
