Another week is passing by. We are continuing to set up CityFreighter Europe, and it has been decided to do this in Geilenkirchen/Germany.  We had a very positive videoconference with two of our key future collaboration partners and two German county administrators for local economic developments.

It looks like they initiated reaching out to the German government to provide further support for our project as our long term plan will secure and create jobs in the area. The location is very close to the Netherlands and Belgium border.

We are still in need of closing a gap for financing our beta version. We are negotiating with future production partners to receive a kind of upfront payment as a credit in exchange for a long-term production agreement.

In February, we signed an SHA with investors from India about 300k, and we are anxiously waiting for that money to come in. It would help to move faster.

So we could need some more action on Wefunder.😊

As mentioned before, after finalizing the Beta, we will prepare a large A-round in the US; we expect to receive significant pre-orders as well once the Beta has been released. And as soon as things are getting easier on Covid-19, we will restart in the US, and we are currently working on creating a strong team for that.

The picture below was taken yesterday. We visited a company in the south of Germany who are specialists to manufacture pre-inked thermoplastics for the automotive industry, avoiding extra painting of parts and fast repair. They work for companies like Porsche and BMW. We were pretty much impressed with the possibilities they offer, and they agreed to join our consortium to support this project from the start. It will speed up the process of developing exterior and interior parts, including the dashboard.
