Hey DIVERTfam!

We are happy to report that the first interstitial close was a success. Between WeFunder and private investment we successfully closed $675k into our DIVERTsessions account last week. This signifies a major shift from capital raise mode, to production mode  and things are in full swing! Here is what the DIVERTteam is up to. 


BRAND PARTNERSHIPS

DIVERT is actively opening conversations at value aligned brands who can support and amplify our guest experience. 

We are specifically seeking partners in a few different categories:

Action Sports Partners - Surf, skate, scooter, ski & snowboard brands can get their products in the hands of their target demo. 
.
Lifestyle Product Partners - Food, beverage, youth culture and lifestyle brands can support the DIVERT experience and make our customers their customers. 
.
Impact Partners - Non-profits, youth groups, schools and more can enter into our sessions subsidy program and benefit from the DIVERTsessions sports and education offering!

Media Partners - Publications and Content Creators can leverage the park to create unique, viral, social content and develop rich, engaging storytelling. 
.
Gaming Partners - Action Sports and creative games and companies can activate their games, characters and more to have a high touch experience for the players.

PERMITTING 

We are working closely with the City to ensure our offering is safe and enjoyable for the community. We have submitted our signage plan for final review, we are working on submitting our sound plan and next we are working with building and safety! 

The City is highly supportive of the project and will be helping us to market the activation as well and connect with local schools to help us create programs and initiatives that serve the local youth. 

MARKETING

We are kicking-off the launch of our website development efforts. The website will be the home for all info on the DIVERTsessions Pop-up including ticket purchases, partner information, employment opportunities and more! We will look to launch the website at the beginning of 2021 in order to launch our ticketing pre-sale campaign. 

We are finalizing and putting into action our pre-sale, soft/grand opening marketing strategies and ensuring that we make waves from the day we open! 


EMPLOYMENT

We will be positing job descriptions for the Operations Manager Role starting next week to ensure that this critical role is give the time and care it needs to manage the DIVERT experience on a day to day basis.
