Well, again we have crazy times around the world, Covid-19 still heavily influencing our daily lives, and the US elections are ahead. 

Do you remember what slogan became popular after 911? United We Stand! I believe we should take that word UNITED as it is meant. Together, we could all move and change the world for good!

We at CityFreighter believe in the power of collaborations, to move the business further and to 
help to build a clean future.

Our call with Epic Games went very well and we are going to build our HMI with their “unreal engine”. Exciting!

Our collaboration on significant elements of the drivetrain is progressing and we think it will be a gamechanger for our future growth.

Other things are moving as well (except the campaign, which could be a bit better...) and the team is so excited to present the Beta version to the world next year.

Till then, there is a lot of work ahead...

The design team in LA is still working on the final design and the implementation of the sliding doors. Next week, we are starting to build a mock-up of the cabin made out of wood, to test the position of seating and steering. We are trying to make sure we’ll create an easy in ‘n out (no, not the burger 😎) for the driver.

Additionally, we are working on the floor level.

Yesterday, we discussed the system architecture and Laszlo, our team leader for the Powertrain, presented the layout plan for the electric drive train -uhh- you wont believe what is going into it. This is one of the moments where you realize that we are seriously building a real vehicle.
