Almost 100 people have committed the $150,000 needed for investments to be released from our Wefunder crowdfunding escrow account. Wind Harvest will soon be able to put this money to use. This milestone marks a big day for near-ground wind turbines. We appreciate the many people who made this possible.

It takes up to three weeks for funds to enter the escrow account if the investment check was mailed. Because of that, it will take a bit more time to have the money in hand, but before the end of November, the Wind Harvester v3.1 will start being made by Weissenborn A/S in Denmark. Then, in early spring, the turbine will be installed and begin testing at the Nordic Folkecenter, a hundred miles or so from the assembly facility.

Reaching the $600,000 raised will be our next huge milestone. At that point, we will have the capital needed to finish engineering the final version 3.2 and internationally certify our H-type turbine aeroelastic models. Achieving both those will be firsts for the wind industry.

Please share our good news far and wide. Nothing would make us happier than if many people from every walk of life were able to share in the wealth our company is going to produce.
