Reyets: Social Justice Network

If your sharing videos of police brutality, we need to talk.

Here is why you should think twice before reposting that video and our plan to spread empowerment

A video message from the CEO

We have been having some candid and difficult conversations. The dire effects of police brutality and civil rights abuse are heartbreaking and the bad news cycle is inescapable.

We wanted to understand how this is affecting you, our Reyets users, and the community.

We learned that most people felt exhausted from the constant sharing of videos of police brutality. While the intention of most is to create awareness, the result was desensitizing and normalizing violence against black men and women. While sharing these hard truths was important, they must serve a purpose.

You said you did not want to feel helpless, you wanted to feel empowered. You did not want to focus on what cannot be done, instead, you wanted to do more.

So we took your words to heart and are launching a newsletter highlighting the victories, the wins, and the progress being made towards a more just society.

I would like to personally invite you to subscribe and share your stories on what empowers you, so you can empower others.
