We want to hear from you! In your 'circle' (friends, family, neighbors, co-workers), do you personally know anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19? Or have you, yourself, tested positive for COVID-19?
When the virus first started spreading, it seemed we all heard stories of people that had tested positive for COVID-19, stories of people that had to be hospitalized or knew someone that knew someone whose cousin's uncle's best friend's neighbor had tested positive. However, after several months now into the pandemic, it seems these stories are hitting closer and closer to home.
Dr. Maria Nagy, CEO & Co-Founder of QXD, shared just yesterday that there's a cluster in her area and that she personally knows 14 people that have tested positive! For me, my nephew went out of state to attend his freshman year of college and tested positive two weeks ago and had to go home to quarantine. My neighbor (across the street) tested positive for COVID back in April but I only found out about it a few weeks ago.
So, we were curious if anyone else had similar stories they'd like to share relating to a personal experience with someone in your 'circle' testing positive for COVID-19. Please only post if you feel comfortable - there's no pressure here. We are not using this information as a way to collect data or to use for any type of documentation - we are simply curious.

I had a similar experience to Gary Clemens -
I got what I thought was a flu & dry cough - after going to tech conferences & flying -
By the end of January my whole circle was sick -
There were no test at that time but was told it was not Phnemonia or the flu But a bad respiratory infection
I eventually recovered but It took a good month
I did have many I knew diagnosed in later months & have personally know friends that passed away

Happy to be investing
I have not met anyone that has tested positive. I am not convinced the testing is accurate, so I have not tested myself.
I do believe that I contracted covid 19 at the end of January into beginning of February because i had not experienced anything like this as a flu(thought to be very bad strain at the time) in my 54 years of existence. It has me out of commission for 12 days and I could not sleep laying down and had to sleep upright in a chair for 5 days so I could breathe while sleeping.
I also will not go for anti bodies testing because anti bodies can show up for many, many reasons other than a Sars infection and again, the assumption is, to me, absurd thinking that these anti bodies would prove the exposure to it.
Kind of left out hanging here.
Gary, thanks so much for sharing your story. It's certainly intriguing to read personal experiences just like the one you shared. Thanks again.
