Good morning, everyone --

In 2018, my production company, Nineteen Films, partnered with John That's company, Noblehooks Productions to bring 'The Astrid Experience' from script to screen. As we're nearing the release of the first feature film under the company, we've decided re-design the logo as a statement to where the company is going. By the end of 2021, our aim is for our company to be synonymous with most premium, independent content in the world, and 'The Astrid Experience' is how we are doing it, but first, a little history...

-2011 -- the company was formed to produce the short film 'Plunge'. This was the first project I ever wrote and produced. This little, imperfect film is where it all began.

-2012 -- I wrote the stage play, 'Rise', which won Best World Premiere at the 2012 Hollywood Fringe Festival. That play was optioned for the screen, and was my first big writing deal. It is a critically acclaimed, single location story. This project is currently set up under Nineteen Films.

-2014 -- Nineteen Films had it's first co-production with Noblehooks to produce John That's music video, 'Hippy Girl'. This was the first piece of content I ever directed, and we had a blast making it. This is the project where John and I realized we had a great working relationship, and had artistic talents that complimented each other. We both knew we needed to do something larger someday, and now here we are making TAE.

-2015-2017 -- I continued to write tons of content. Nineteen Films currently has over 15 literary properties owned by the company, with project budgets ranging from $200,000 -- $200 million. We have feature scripts in nearly every genre and budget range, as well as IP rights for literary book properties, and a TV series that is similar to and inspired by 'The Astrid Experience'.

-2018-Present -- 'THE ASTRID EXPERIENCE'

That's it everyone, a little history of the rise of this company, and what it's taken to get to where we are now, that is, nearing completion on a feature we couldn't be more proud of.

Nineteen Films... We Love Making Movies.

Sincerely,

-Cal Barnes
