FB Live is Cracking Down on Livestreaming Music Performances | LaunchTV is the Answer

This is crazy.

Facebook recently clarified their music livestreaming policy, stating that users "may not use videos on our Products to create a music listening experience" and that "if you use videos on our Products to create a music listening experience for yourself or for others, your videos will be blocked and your page, profile or group may be deleted."

This is all quite vague, nor is there a clearly defined "music listening experience," but the gist seems to be that folks can no longer use FB live for virtual concerts and music listening events, essentially alienating the millions of musicians performing on FB live during the pandemic era.

While vague, we can surmise that this is going to impact artists and consumers. Freaked out? Don't be. Launch is already ahead of the curve on this.

We have monetizable, interactive, livestreaming virtual concerts that scale, completely independent of any social network, and we offer our members the chance for endless, unimpeded live music all day, every day.

We invite you to attend our Introduction to Launch meeting this Thursday to find out how our team was already ahead of this massive disruption from big tech.
