It has been only one week since we launched this campaign, and we have over 85 new investors raising over $220,000. My team and I are very encouraged by all the support (on many levels)! We are truly going to make a significant impact in the world!

Last week I represented our company at the International Recovered Carbon Black Congress. I want to share my five takeaways.

1) When I joined the industry in 2014, the market was lukewarm to the idea of recovered carbon black being a practical business model. They saw it as the future of tire recycling, but something that was 10 or 20 years from reality. In 2018 The market was warm. As of today, it is very, very warm. I predict it will be hot by 2022.

2) There are just a handful of companies currently in this place, and they all want to collaborate.

3) There are 13 tire manufacturers in the USA alone. They are all looking at potential investments in technologies such as Smart Tire Recycling. A number have already invested.

4) Tire manufacturers are creating aggressive goals to have a large percentage of their end-products be recycled material. In the EU, these goals are up to 50%. [Smart Tire's technology has a patent in the EU as well.]

5) I heard from the virgin carbon black manufacturers. For the first time, they are acknowledging that recovered carbon black is a real competition. I see them as potential strategic partners and investors.
