An Invitation to ALL #Missionary Friends, #MissionMinded Believers and Centralians Globally

Throughout world history there have been countless silent yet faithful missionaries who served God and gave the ultimate sacrifice. We may we never know their names but we can honor these VOICELESS heroes by showing the world movies that represent their powerful inspiring stories. #FreedomFightersFilm, the history-in-the-making, first Hollywood-Philippines global motion picture will feature both the extraordinary bravery of American and Filipino resistance fighters who fought the Japanese as well as the sacrificial heroism of non-combatant Hopevale missionaries who helped the guerrillas along the way. Among these Hopevale sacrificial heroes were

Dr. Francis Rose and his wife Gertrude. They were among the founders of Central Philippine University (CPU, back then CPC, Central Philippine College). Dr. Rose lead the faculty, staff, and students of CPU before and during WWII.Also among them were Dr. Meyer, a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, who founded and built Capiz Emmanuel Hospital. Dr. Meyer and his wife Ruth sacrificially yet joyfully treated their patients physical illness as well as ministered the Gospel of Christ to their spiritual needs. These faithful missionaries were given the chance to surrender but they refused and decided to stay behind enemy lines. They believe Filipinos devastated by war will be needing them more than ever. Indeed, Dr. Meyer in one of his letters to his mother in the US, mentioned that the needs were so overwhelming that he wished he had more than 24 hours a day to help the Filipinos!

Unfortunately, the Japanese captured and executed them. But God turned their #TragedyIntoTriumph because their sacrificial death enabled their fellow Americans who are resistance fighters to escape and the vital intelligence they took to Gen. MacArthur helped defeat the Japanese forces saving thousands of Filipinos and Americans. Not only that, God in His providence allowed this powerful story to reach Japan after the war that led to faith in Christ of the Japanese Navy flier, Mitsuo Fuchida who led the attack on Pearl Harbor. Fuchida eventually became a famous evangelist (some call him, Billy Graham of Japan) leading thousands of Japanese to the saving knowledge of Christ. WOW!!!

This epic story of love and heroism is virtually unknown to the world and yet its powerful message can change hearts across our broken world deplete of compassion. Sadly, for more than 75 years their stories seemed to remain buried with them in the jungle tomb where they lay.

BUT WE CAN CHANGE THIS! If missionaries, mission-minded believers, and Centralians around the world rally behind this vision we can REALLY put on the global stage this EPIC true story of sacrificial love and unparallel heroism through our historic #FreedomFightersFilm!!!

If YOU are a missionary or mission-minded follower of Christ or a Centralian, may we invite YOU to JOIN US inspire hearts and impact lives around the world with the incredible true story of the Hopevale missionaries and the thousands of VOICELESS sacrificial heroes throughout human history that they represent?
