We’re Making History in Hollywood! #InspireStudios1 Honoring Fil-Am Heroes of 9/11 Attacks!Today, Inspire Studios, a MINORITY (Filipino-American) owned start up movie production company officially launched the Equity Investment offering of our #FreedomFightersFilm, a history-in-the-making, FIRST Hollywood-Philippines global motion picture!
We specifically chose today’s date, Sept. 11th because #FreedomFightersFilm is based on epic true stories of the unparalleled #Heroism, unwavering #Hope, and uncommon #Honor of everyday American & Filipino heroes during WWII!!!
We also choose today’s date to honor the thousands of now VOICELESS everyday heroes of the 9/11 attacks especially the 20 Filipino-Americans who gave the ultimate sacrifice on that great day of epic heroism in America’s modern history!!! We honor all of these everyday heroes’ but two of these 9/11 Fil-Am heroes stood out to me and strongly inspired me! Their life stories greatly impacted me as a Filipino-American film-maker in Hollywood!!!
One is David, a 30-year old Fil-Am paramedic, who rushed to respond to the emergency at the WTC on 9/11. He was able to take some of the injured people to local hospitals, before he reentered the South Tower moments before its collapse killing him. David’s wife recalled that he used to work double shifts so he could spend more time with his sons.*
Another Fil-Am 9/11 hero is Frederick, an engineer. Before the attacks, he is known as someone who poured a lot of everything into his church, helped set up services, gave occasional readings, and even arranged for members to get to the church—even driving them there himself. His son noted that Frederick’s church wouldn’t run without him. His wife Teresita said she was on the phone with her husband when the plane hit the tower. She said she heard glass shattering in the background before the phone call was disconnected.*
These inspiring true stories of 9/11 Fil-Am heroes are powerful but virtually unknown to the world! And #InspireStudios1 will change this sad reality!
