Hi Chris
Why aren’t y’all using the under-draft to spin turbines and generate more juice to power your batteries?
David, great idea. But any increase in skin drag would lower our overall aero efficiency. So that's not an option for us. Thanks!
The car is shaped like Jessica rabbit
We think she's SEXY too! Thanks for the support, Johan!
autonomous emergency braking is one of the few safety features that has started me looking to replace my current car. Is this feature expected in your first version of aptera?
Done! We are looking to implement standard ADAS features and Level 2+ vehicle autonomy. And thanks for the support, Michael!
looks futuristic but can't wait to get one
Thanks for the support, Fred!
I love the design so futuristic
Thanks for the support, Junior!
I completed the survey but could not see the pictures, when I clicked done it took me to another page? Please let me know how I can see the pics.
Sorry, Harish, it should have had a link at the bottom: https://bit.ly/apteraimages :)
I did the survey and clicked done. It took the option to see the new images away. I would like to see them. After all I did the survey for exactly that reaso
Sorry, Jon, it should have had a link at the bottom: https://bit.ly/apteraimages :)
Did the survey, Didn't see the pictures
Sorry, John, it should have had a link at the bottom: https://bit.ly/apteraimages :)
i can't wait, i love the sleek style. so awesome for electric
Thanks for the support, Barbara!
I have also been waiting to see the Aptera on the road since the first attempt. Glad you are staying with it, and looking forward to bringing one home. It's only been improved from the original concept.
Thanks, Jerry! We're working hard to bring things to life VERY soon :)
Thanks for the survey and preview! Speaking of “shaping”... it looks like your updated rendering of the vehicle is shaping up nicely....showing us some of the latest details you are working through. Can’t wait to see the real thing later this year, or better yet... own one! Change 😷 masks and carry on safely.
Thanks, Leonard! Things are shaping up nicely and we should be ready to show off VERY soon :)
Will be very happy with the early launch. Best of luck
Thanks for the support, Pradip!
Nice to see how the interior has changed from the first renderings to now... and I really like the two screens on the sides to act as 'side-view' monitors instead of having traditional side-mirrors... here's hoping you're able to keep it that way in the production version.
Can't wait to see the real thing :D
Thanks for the support, Ryan!
Have been waiting for this car for over a decade. Can hardly wait to be an owner/operator/ spokesperson!!
Thanks for the support, Robert!
I like the updated lighting treatment. Very nice. Side view camera system. Smart. Assuming good NVH characteristics, I turn my thoughts to the sound system...😊.
Don't worry, our audio WILL be fun! Our sandwich core composites make for great internal acoustics ;) Thanks for the support, Rich!
Hi
I missed the opportunity to invest in Aptera . I sent my investment but it was oversubscribed. When are you going to have another round? I would like to invest in the next Tesla.
Thanks for the support, Frantz. We will likely do another round in the coming weeks along with starting pre-orders :)
Beautiful, sleek...what can I say. Question on tires: what size will they be? All-Weather tires for driving in inclement weather such as snow? Even though we are in Southern California right now, a move to Tennessee may be in the offing, and with that....SNOW!!!
Michael, we are designing in 195/45/r16 tires right now. They are available in any flavor you'd like and all-wheel-drive can tackle any road condition ;) Thanks for the support!
Good news! Do u think j1772 combo bi directional power will be ready by launch and a guide on how to install system into house? I noticed the footage released today there are no solar panels covering the hatch glass.
I'm curious, what if I can't afford the car when production begins/my position comes to ready-to-build status, can I resume my place in line at some other point?
Thanks
Daniel, we haven't settled on the feedback connection just yet. J1772 does allow this but then you need a sophisticated system on the DC receiving side and no one really has off-the-shelf type solutions that are cheap enough for us to think people will adopt them. We may just make a DC connection available so we can pump power at whatever voltage is needed for your system. And we will allow you to delay delivery if you aren't ready to bring an Aptera home ;) Also, we will make the rear solar hatch an option so you can get an Aptera without if your driving needs don't require 40+ miles of charging per day. Thanks for the investment and the support!
Fabulous to receive an update. So excited about your progress. Interesting question to the survey to: I never thought about two wheel or all wheel drive. I definitely would prefer all-wheel-drive.
I sure hope creature comfort, ride manners, and noise vibration and handling (NVH) will all be on par with the best.

Well on my iPhone, after I completed the survey, I am unable to get to the privileged files. Any thoughts?
I didn't see the click HERE for pictures until I had already clicked submit . . . any chance we could get another look?
Sorry, Adam, it should have had a link at the bottom: https://bit.ly/apteraimages :)
