The idea for Launch came to us in March or April 2019 at Superfine, the first farm-to-table restaurant in Brooklyn. This venerable culinary staple, with a warm staff, great food, and local live music, is a place for social togetherness. Conditions like these do not only incubate ideas like ours, but also define neighborhoods and foster culture and art. Gathering, togetherness, and socialization are good for us. 

Psychology Today agrees - the term "social distancing" isn't helping us in the mental health department at all. Joe Kort, Ph.D says, "We have to stay socially connected through this. Community building, togetherness, and emotional connections via electronic devices are imperative for our mental health."

That's Launch. We believe in being together, while separate. Social, while physically distanced. Like this past Saturday when we had a virtual re-stream party for Mega Ran's performance at the Music and Gaming Festival in Last Vegas last year. 

Or, like March 27th, the Friday following the week of the intense "coronavirus crumble" when we teamed up with Sonicbids to co-produce the first-ever Stay The F*ck Home Festival. 

Live music cannot die, it can only evolve!
