Dearly beloved Launch investors and followers,

You don't need us to tell you that the live music industry has been completely rocked, flipped on its head, and is experiencing the most uncertainty we've ever seen in our lifetimes.

What will conglomerates like Ticketmaster and Live Nation look like this time next year? Classic concert venues were closing their doors before COVID; what will the live music venue space look like a few years from now? Will we have to wear face coverings to shows for the next year? The next 5 years? Forever?

Big shows aren't happening, and no one has any idea when they'll happen. again. Concerts are clearly hotbeds for germs and the last place in the world you'd ever expect people to be spaced 6 feet apart. The whole very point of a concert IS social gathering, not social distancing. The point is to leave your stress at home and go drink, cheer, dance and sweat beside hundreds of screaming, like-minded fans. Will, the post-COVID generation ever know, for example, mosh pits?

As we're fundraising and building our business, we're asking our friends, family, investors, and followers: What is the future of live music? Yes, the old way had flaws and largely didn't work for artists ... so what is the new way? Is a collaborative revenue share truly sustainable? What needs to be in place to make it sustainable? How will promoters keep ticket prices affordable for fans?

Please join us every Thursday night at 7:30 PM Eastern for a Zoom-based brainstorming panel where each we share new ideas, reflect on the COVID situation and its lasting impacts on the live music industry as we seek to answer one central question: How do we not go back to normal; How do we go back better
