There are so many things moving quickly and at the same time in a Startup, and we are right in the thick of it.  In this space, I hope to give some brief updates - bi-weekly is most likely, but possibly weekly for major announcements - that give you, our investor and customer base, an inside look at how we are building a winning culture and 'franchise' - pardon me in advance for all of the sports analogies, it just fits with the brand!

The first piece of big news is the announcement of the Basement Baseball World Series, a multi-stage tournament that starts local, then goes to the State, Regional and National Levels in successive rounds (much like Little League Baseball).  You can track all of the action from the World Series Dashboard on our website and our Social Media - YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch and Twitter will all have forms of coverage, including Highlights, Best Home Field, Best Uniforms and other cool competitions to get everyone involved.

I believe that we are developing a real Sports Programming Network here, which is part of the Vision, and we're toying with the name BSPN (Basement Sports Programming Network) and BSN (Basement Sports Network).  Let me know your thoughts, which you like better.

On Monday (July 13, 2020), our launch Press Release was featured on Yahoo Finance, CBS Marketwatch and thousands of media outlets around the country.  It gives some good color to our story, and features timely quotes from a top professional athlete as well as a senior executive at Nike!

Lastly, product development is going very well.  Our Basement Baseball Starter Kits are rounding third base, and nearing completion (ETA: end of July 2020) and should be on the water in early August, and in stock in early September.

In the meantime, we have begun both App Development and Product Development for the next two sports - Soccer and Basketball - very exciting stuff.

P.S. I'm still waiting for someone to be able to challenge me on my 'home turf' in Basement Baseball.  I stand undefeated in 2 seasons now, and hold the current World Title (LOL, out of under 20 participants, but nonetheless).  The upcoming World Series - Open Division (any age can participate) - will be a good gauge of my true skills.  Hey at 46 Years Old, it's just good to be able to still be in the game.  That is part of the beauty of Basement Sports - anyone, at almost any age, can participate and have fun in a safe way.  That said, my shoulder is a bit sore today after throwing over 100 pitches in two 3-inning games yesterday!
