We’re going to start providing weekly updates as we get closer to launching the first pilot program towards the end of this month.

Just as a quick reminder/updates...

-We've actively working on improving our technology and pivoting to make the necessary changes for the first pilot launch.

-We’ve partnered with a local nonprofit that'll provide a shared cause for people to get behind. They'll be on-boarding members that want to support the nonprofit in exchange for receiving laundry services.

-We’ve partnered with a local small business that'll initially work to curate one side of the marketplace.

-We’ve partnered with a local media company called LIFT Digital/OnMilwaukee that'll provide digital marketing strategy, content, and audience of 1M readers in exchange for equity in TaskCause.

In our first pilot, we’re going to kickstart “Giving By Doing”. People local to Milwaukee will be able to get their clothes cleaned where 100% of the proceeds go to support the nonprofit(after 5% TaskCause fees).

While this is not scalable, we’re being resourceful and trying some creative things to begin the effort. All the complexities aside, this is all we’re doing in the short term: finding people who want to get their clothes cleaned to support a nonprofit instead of strictly donating.

Happy 4th of July! As an immigrant, I'm grateful for the freedom and opportunities in this great country.

Yours truly,

Sang Woo Nam (Kevin)
