Hello Team,

While the pandemic has slowed our progress, which we anticipated, we're still working behind the scenes to prepare for principal photography. One thing we've been focusing on is a way to offset some of the costs in order to maximize the capital we've already raised.

I'm happy to say that we've partnered with BorrowLenses.com to offset the cost of renting a cinema lens package. It's encouraging to see that an established provider of production gear, such as BorrowLenses.com, sees the value in our project.

In April, we entered a film grant competition, the ScreenCraft Film Fund. I'm proud to announce that we're a second round qualifier! Almost 800 projects were submitted. On June 17th, the semi finalist will be announced. Being awarded a grant could bridge the gap to our targeted fundraise goal.

We've also been working with a company who develops digital distribution and marketing strategies for indies. We've refined our strategic marketing plan, honing in on our demographic to prepare for the release of Silent as the Grave.

We're aiming to begin production this winter. The COVID regulations and guidelines will ultimately determine whether or not that's still feasible. We can't wait to bring you this film. We'll continue to keep you updated on our progress. Until then, stay safe and healthy!
