At Cornbread Hemp, our PR team never stop working to get quality mentions from top-tier news organizations. In just the last week, we have scored two major pieces in Forbes and POLITICO. Take a look!

Forbes headline: Solving Problems in Creative Ways, with Cornbread Hemp co-founder Jim Higdon

In Forbes, our co-founder Jim Higdon drills down on Cornbread Hemp's branding backstory and how it connects with growing the business in, "Solving Problems in Creative Ways." This story is a great read for anyone interested in investing in startups like ours, but it's especially good for anyone into cocktails and bourbon culture.

When asked how to describe where he's from, Higdon tells Forbes: "For a whiskey enthusiast, I can point to the red wax on a bottle of Maker’s Mark and say, 'I’m from there.' My grandmother was born in the house on the Maker's Mark distillery property that is now the welcome center for visitors on the Bourbon Trail. If you’ve been to the Maker’s Mark distillery, you’ve been to my grandmother’s childhood home."

Politico story featuring Cornbread Hemp co-founder Jim Higdon

In POLITICO, Higdon chides political leaders for not doing enough to force the FDA to issue regulations on the CBD industry in "Hemp was supposed to boost farmers."

POLITICO quotes Higdon: "[Mitch] McConnell was a leader in this space. Previously, it gave me a lot of hope... I haven’t seen him around lately. I hope it's just because he’s been swarmed with higher priorities."
