As part of the equity raise for Drifter Spirits/Avua Corporation, we are highlighting some of the new products in the portfolio as we move towards a more profitable, larger portfolio company over the next 5 years.

As part of Avuá Cachaça’s tradition of innovation in cachaça, we have begun a series of uniquely aged, limited edition releases.

This Copan Edition bottling is the first of our resolutely limited wood series, made as an experiment with Craig Schoettler of MGM and the venerable distillers of Hardy Cognac. Each of these bottles is a finishing school for Brazilian wood aged cachaça that is rested in a Hardy Cognac barrel.

Each bottle is hand-crafted and aged over one year in tapinhoã wood casks, imparting toasted coconut and pine tree notes then finished for six months in large barrels, adding the rich flavors of the cognac. Only 600 bottles of this release will be available of which 200 will be available to the general public only.

We are excited to launch this in 2020 and will be a significant financial addition to the Drifter portfolio.
