Mike, has been a lifelong martial artist. Like many,it was brazilian jiu jitsu that brought him to the MMA world. He earned his black belt in 2014. It was also in 2014 that he got involved with the sport of MMA on the commission side and has spent the last 6 years inspecting, judging, reffing and commissioning amateur MMA, Muay Thai and Kickboxing fights in his home state of Illinois. Having worked with multiple (amateur) promotions as well as cage/ring side with the ILSAC for the biggest shows in the country (UFC, Bellator, Glory). His experience has allowed him access to knowledge of how combat shows are run that few are privy to. His passion, enthusiasm, unique experience and knowledge of MMA, rules, regulations and government affairs will for sure make him a huge asset to the EAFL team.
