Hi Folks,

First off, I hope that you and all of your friends and family are safe and doing well. Second, I apologize for the long radio silence. It's been a whirlwind of ever-changing challenges at Barrel Head Brewhouse, but it seems like there is light at the end of the tunnel and we can start to refocus our efforts to lay out new plans for Lost Marbles.

Obviously the entire world has changed and we need to adjust ourselves to best fit in. We are starting to elevate construction and finish detailing the location for opening. While the actual opening date is impossible to predict, hopefully soon we will have an idea of when we can move forward-taking into consideration everyone's health and safety, of course. We will keep everyone updated as best we can:) I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as our team pushes though the largest unforeseen setback any of us have experienced. As stressful and alarming as this is, we all feel very lucky and positive about the future.

During this forced vacation we have tried to take advantage of the extra time and other opportunities: Kyle Castronovo completed his mural and is starting a new piece.

Also, we engaged Erin Eisenhower (and yes she is related to President Eisenhower) as our second mural artist for the location. She additionally agreed to do three custom large scale pieces that will eventually be for sale after an extended residence at Lost Marbles.

We have seen mural outline and it's going to be awesome.

Our beloved bartender Anye, connected us with a friend's night club that was closing in Oakland and we got an absolutely huge treasure trove of desperately needed bar equipment at beyond an extremely good price. We took two trucks and made three trips across the bay to haul it all in.

It was a very long day, but a big success - we estimated a 25K savings, at least. We are extremely appreciative of our East Bay friends that were so generous to us. Those are the major happenings at this time. I’ll try to get back on the more frequent updates. We are in the market for further kitchen equipment so if anyone has any connections/leads we would appreciate an introduction.

For those of you who just can't wait to get your hands on our refreshing brews and delicious bites, the take-out window at Barrelhead is open 7 days a week (kitchen is closed Monday).

The Jell-o shots have been selling like crazy and our bar staff is creating new and fun cocktails for you to enjoy at home. Normally we are open from 3:30-8pm, however with Mayor Breeds imposed curfew we will be closing at 7:30 to ensure that our staff get home by 8pm till that is lifted.

Stay calm, wash your hands & carry on.

Cheers,

~ Ivan & The Entire Lost Marbles Crew
