We hope this message finds you safe and supported. Over the last few weeks, we have been tracking the rapidly evolving economic landscape as the coronavirus pandemic has swept across the globe. In particular, we have been paying close attention to developments in the travel industry, which has been hit especially hard.

As co-founders of an ambitious global adventure designed to bring people from every corner of the world together to experience the greatest places on earth, we have spent a great deal of time reflecting on the journey ahead.

While we believe there will be an unprecedented surge in travel once the world has recovered from this pandemic, making experiences like The Greatest Adventure on Earth more in-demand than ever, the truth is that recovery will not be instantaneous, predictable, or linear.

In the face of this uncertainty, we have decided it is in the best interest of our investors to cancel fundraising for now, and refund all investments made to date. We feel the alternative—to extend our Wefunder campaign indefinitely and attempt to regain momentum once international travel resumes—is the wrong approach.

As a team we have explored a wide range of pivots that would allow us to deliver something in the interim, but ultimately felt these options did not honor the concept we envisioned or the idea many of you invested in. We also understand that liquidity is invaluable during periods of economic anxiety, and that your funds may be better allocated elsewhere right now.

We want to be clear that this is not the end of The Greatest Adventure on Earth. We believe the market will look quite different in 6 months' time, and that we will be able to provide investors with a much more attractive opportunity at that time; one that includes a lower valuation, and more favorable terms.

Thank you for believing in us, and for giving our vision of authentic and immersive independent travel a fighting chance. We hope you will continue to support us in the future when we return to raise our Seed Round in early 2021, and that you will bring your extended network to join in.
