Just 3 weeks ago, the world was in a very vunerable state.  We are all a bit uncertain what the outcome of the COVID-19 Pandemic would be.  Tribe Pilot was directly affected by this world wide uncertainty, and decided that we could help people dream about a post Pandemic summer.  To this end we offered free pro upgrades to trips to all of our users so they could lay those plans now and imagine better times to come.  As a benefits company we make decisions based on more than just company profits, in this case we needed to support our users and our community in uncertain times.

Thanks came in the form of government funds.  Since revenue dropped, and our recruitment activities were hard won, we applied for both an Economic Injury Disaster Relief Loan (EIDL), and a Paycheck Protection Program loan (PPP).  We were awarded grants from these programs that cover expenses for 2 months while we wait for our wilderness to open back up, and social distancing requirements to ease.
