Shark Wheel and Participant Assistive Products, another company raising on Wefunder, have agreed to enter into a prototyping agreement. Participant Assistive Products will contract Shark Wheel to create casters for their pediatric wheelchair, which is targeted to lower income countries where surfaces can be rough. This seems to be a perfect application of the Shark Wheel technology. Yesterday, Participant co-founder, Dave Calver took his wheelchair, outfitted with a Shark Wheel, to Medellin! Soon, Participant’s test pilots will be out on the streets testing Shark Wheel in Kenya, Colombia, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Stay tuned for photos! Visit Participant
