Early Bird Pricing Nearly Gone + Tech & Media Updates

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and you are now ready for an exciting new year! For the folks at AmmoSquared we're extremely excited and optimistic for 2020. We have been planning out the new technology, getting media contacts lined up and, of course, keeping an eye on the Wefunder campaign... here are some updates:

Early Bird Status

First, I want to point out that we only have $10k left in our Early Bird pricing! So if you are on the fence or are thinking about adding to your investment, now is a great time to do it before it is gone because you'll get an automatic gain on your investment once we switch to our "regular" pricing.

Technology

Chris and I have been talking to vendors and planning out the flow and features for the new system, which I personally am VERY excited to see take shape. When you have used something well beyond its useful life you realize how limiting it is. With the new system we will be able to do so much more for our customers that we couldn't even dream of doing today.

I'm reminded daily of how difficult it is for people to make changes, update existing subscriptions, or do simple tasks like increase a subscription amount. We have made it widely known that everyone is welcome to shoot us an email or call and we can handle the updates if they are having difficulty - but we all know that is no way to scale a business!

Honestly when I started AmmoSquared in 2015, the system was meant to test an idea. It was never intended to handled the 1,000+ active subscribers we have today. It did the job though - it got us to where we are today and proved our "product market fit". But just like trying to fit a family of 5 in a 2-door subcompact car, we've outgrown our current platform.

Needless to say there is a lot of frustration. Frustration that will be remedied with the new technology we are building. Technology that this Wefunder campaign will finance.

With new technology comes more growth, happier customers, and more revenue for the business.


Media Exposure

I wanted to provide some links to our announcement in industry blogs: The Truth About Guns , AmmoLand and Soldier Systems all are widely read blogs in the gun industry.

Our press release also made its way to Crowdfund Insider which is a crowdfund focused blog and news site.

We also placed 18th out of 255 crowdfunds raising money in December on KingsCrowd which ranks equity crowdfund offerings.

Lastly, I just did a podcast interview with Gun Guy TV and spent a good half hour talking about AmmoSquared and our Wefunder Campaign. My first interview so far - but hope to do more soon.

So we are making the news in various outlets for both the gun and crowdfund industries! We're actively targeting new media outlets including blogs and radio programs to continue to get the word out in January. 

We also have plans to kick up the marketing machine with targeted emails and ad placements on relevant websites and social media sites. It will be a great month!
