Bringing in the Pros

After a lot of looking into it and internal discussion for how we can best move forward, we have decided to sign with Ruckus Marketing in NYC to help us push forward our marketing needs!

We chose to move forward this way as we wanted a strong go at our marketing campaigns and the analytics provided sets us up to better understand our users and potential users as well as prepare us better for future expansion into other markets.  As Nick and I are not specialists in marketing, we felt that our options were to either A) find a stellar marketing hire who has experience with our style of product and our stage of product, or B) Find a firm that has the same qualifications.  We landed on Ruckus after doing a lot of research and having many talks with a bunch of other firms as well.

We are extremely excited to have this relationship moving forward and expect to see our user base expand more quickly and with better retention than we would have been able to do so internally.  I have always believed that the mark of good leadership is to understand your strengths and weaknesses, and marketing at this stage was not our biggest strength - so finding the talent that can do this is tantamount to our success.  This move will allow us, in turn, to focus more heavily on bringing on new restaurants on our platform and continuing to develop the platform as we get additional feedback from users and restaurants.

Here is to a great 2019 and preparing for an explosive 2020!
