Patent Pending COVID Killing Lighting
Calyx is proud to announce we have applied for a new patent this weekend. As our team was in the midst of developing our grow panel which kills mold, mildew, and bacteria while reducing odor in grow facilities, the world experienced the outbreak of COVID-19. In light of the grim situation, it presented Calyx with a distinctive opportunity to make an impactful difference.
Calyx has recently created a new light which is scheduled to be in production by June 1st. This market disrupting fixture kills airborne pathogens, including superbugs and viruses, such as SARS.
Our multi-barrier approach is expected to make a huge impact on all segments of the market.
We have licensed the technology to illumiPure to use in conjunction with their TruWhite disinfection technology. The intended use and patent functions for this revolutionary fixture had originally fallen into the category of grow. But now, we have a true crossover fixture which is patent pending for both grow and commercial classes of lighting.
