Free tacos and learning about how LEAH Labs is curing cancer in dogs?

~25 of Rochester, Minnesota's entrepreneurial and innovative minds agreed this was a great way to spend a lunch at the latest Taco 'Bout Innovation seminar.

Our CEO, Dr. Wes Wierson, spoke about how LEAH Labs is bringing medical innovation to our furry friends "at the speed of dog years" during a lunch and learn yesterday at One Discovery Square.

The theme of "medical innovation at the speed of dog years" stems from the fact that we can develop and commercialize novel therapeutics in under 3 years via the USDA regulatory path vs. the 6-10 year trek needed for human drug approvals via the FDA.

Moreover, regulations allow for veterinarians to treat pets with novel therapeutics outside of regulatory jurisdiction. This allows LEAH Labs to use brand new and innovative experimental technologies to help our sick furry friends today, not in a few years, saving time, money, and dogs during the therapy development process. When we discover a treatment worth further development, we can then scale it and bring it through regulatory for broad adoption.

Thanks for checking in, and don't forget to share our mission with your dog loving friends, families, and colleagues!

Cheers!
